Taxes Newby would eliminate federal Income Tax for any widow/widower of any Federal, state, or Local Law Enforcement Officer Killed in the Line of Duty. Any budget surplus, including Social Security, should be refunded to the Taxpayers. Your refund check in December 1999 would have been $12,900 per taxpayer. Federal Budget Today the Federal budget is 23 to 25% of the Gross Domestic Product, with spending increases every year. Newby will purpose a Total Budget Cap of 18% of the previous years G.D.P. with this government spending allowance, will be based on previous years economy, not on previous years spending. Deficit Reduction Premium - To be paid by ALL current and Former - Federally Elected Officials of $10,000 per year.
